Dear Members,
In accordance with the Articles of Association of the IAULS and the arrangements for the transition of leadership, the term of the 3rd Board of Directors is about to expire. To ensure the continuity and high-quality development of the Association’s work, the Board of Directors has decided to officially launch the recommendation and self-nomination process for candidates for the 4th Board of Directors.
As the core executive body of the Association, the Board of Directors plays a vital role in promoting academic prosperity and long-term development. We sincerely invite members who are passionate about the Association’s affairs and have a certain level of influence in relevant fields to actively participate and contribute to the development of international urban linguistics. Relevant details are as follows:
1. Eligibility Criteria
Must be a formal member of the IAULS and have paid the annual membership fee for the current year.
Must be dedicated to the Association’s work, possess a strong sense of responsibility, faithfully and diligently fulfill the duties of a Director, and actively participate in various meetings and activities organized by the Association.
2. Nomination Methods
Candidates for the Board of Directors will be selected through a combination of “Director Recommendation” and “Self-Nomination”:
Director Recommendation: Nominated by current Directors;
Self-Nomination: Eligible members may voluntarily apply.
3. Application Materials
Interested members are required to submit their personal resumes (including a brief introduction of academic achievements or work performance).
4. Submission Deadline and Method
Deadline: 24:00 (Beijing Time), August 20, 2026;

根据国际城市语言学会（IAULS）章程规定及换届工作安排，学会第三届理事会任期即将届满。为保障学会工作的连续性与高质量发展，经学会理事会研究，现正式启动第四届理事会理事候选人的推荐与自荐工作。
理事会作为学会的核心执行机构，对推动学会学术繁荣与长远发展至关重要。我们诚挚邀请热心学会事务、在相关领域具有一定影响力的会员积极参选，共同为国际城市语言学的发展贡献力量。现将有关事项通知如下：
一、 参选条件
1.国际城市语言学会正式会员，且按规定缴纳本年度会费；
2.热心学会工作，责任心强，能够忠实、勤勉地履行理事职责，积极参与学会各项会议与活动。
二、 参选方式
本次理事候选人产生采取“理事推荐”与“个人自荐”相结合的方式：
1.理事推荐：现任理事推荐；
2.个人自荐：符合上述条件的会员可自愿报名参选。
三、 报名材料要求
有意参选的会员，请提交个人简历（含学术成果或工作业绩简介）。
四、 提交时间与方式
1.截止时间：2026年8月20日 24:00（北京时间）；

国際都市言語学会の正会員であり、当年度の会費を規定どおり納入していること。
当会の事業に熱心に取り組み、責任感が強く、理事としての職務を忠実かつ勤勉に遂行し、当会の各種会議および行事に積極的に参加できること。
二、 立候補の方法
今回の理事候補者は、「理事による推薦」と「個人による立候補」の組み合わせにより選出します。
理事による推薦：現任理事からの推薦。
個人による立候補：上記の要件を満たす会員は、自発的に立候補を申請することができます。
三、 提出書類
立候補を希望される会員は、履歴書（学術的業績または業務実績の概要を含む）を提出してください。
四、 提出期限および提出方法
